On behalf of Sloane Stanley, I am delighted to welcome you to the 19 Mallord Street website. Sloane Stanley has been a family run estate based in Chelsea for over three hundred years and we like to think of ourselves as part of the local community. We believe in Chelsea and are fully invested in it remaining an attractive place to live and work. It has been the Estate’s priority for some time to find a suitable use for 19 Mallord Street that both respects our neighbours and local residents, as well as sparing this magnificent building from any major physical alteration. Alongside finding the right use, we have also focused our efforts in finding an occupant who shares Sloane Stanley’s dedication to enhancing Chelsea’s local offering whilst respecting the building’s legacy and neighbours alike. For this reason, we have chosen Third Space, a high-end health and fitness club with a proven track record across London, whose top-quality service will be an asset to the local area. It was our original intention to hold a public exhibition on-site, allowing us to consult our local stakeholders thoroughly and give you the chance to meet the project team in person. However, in light of the Covd-19 outbreak, we have decided to proceed with our consultation virtually. Therefore, I kindly ask you to take the time to visit our virtual exhibition, embedded within this website. The virtual exhibition intends to provide our neighbours and local residents with a more detailed look into the proposals. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, so please do ensure that you share your thoughts and feedback via the question prompts built into the exhibition. Thank you for visiting our website, and I truly hope that you enjoy our exhibition. Richard Everett Estate Manager - Sloane Stanley
We are pleased to confirm that, following careful consideration of all feedback received from our public consultation and Virtual Exhibition, we finalised our proposals and recently submitted a planning application to the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC), which has now been validated (reference: PP/20/04812) and is live on the Council’s planning portal. The Council is now undertaking their statutory public consultation on our proposals, prior to the application being considered by committee later this year. The consultation closes on Friday 9th October 2020. As such, we would very much welcome your support for our application via the link to the Council’s planning portal below, should you feel so inclined: Support our Proposals Here Should you need to remind yourself of our proposals, further information is available on this project website. If you should have any questions about our proposals, please do not hesitate contact the project team via the ‘Contact Us’ section, and we would be more than happy to help. Thank you for your anticipated support for our exciting proposals for 19 Mallord Street.
